Formed in 2008, Backwater are Scotland`s Premier Quo tribute band. Their first gig, at the Eagle Tavern, Prestwick in June 2009, was a short set and well received by a highly appreciative audience. A series of further high profile gigs followed, including “McVention V” and the “Apollo 25” Rock Show in Glasgow. Backwater continually strive to hone their early 70`s "Frantic Four" Quo sound & expand their setlist to try and cover most periods within Quo`s history.
