Assam Chess Club is an Unit of Akshayam, a CSO working for the overall development of the underprivileged children of the society.Founded by Biswajit Bharadwaj & Adita Gogoi in the year 2006,Assam Chess Club is promoting the game of chess in the region by introducing the game to the young kids. Besides regular tournaments are also being conducted by the club to inculcate the spirit of competition as well as provide a platform to the young talents of the region to showcase their talents.
