Carlton Operatic Society is an award-winning amateur musical society, producing a major musical production annually at the Theatre Royal, Nottingham. In 2014 they will be performing one of the first amateur performances of the spectacular musical Sister Act, based on the Whoopi Goldberg film of the same name. Founded in 1921, recent productions include Peter Pan, Crazy for You, The Producers, Thoroughly Modern Millie and West Side Story.
