The Bedford Historical Society preserves the historic character of Bedford, New York and offers educational programs and community events. We own and preserve Historical Hall, the Bedford Free Library, The Bedford Store, Jackson House, Bedford Post Office, Lounsbery Building, Bedford Museum at the 1787 Court House, School House and Museum, Two acres surrounding the Bedford Oak and 95 acres with four historic easements. We also manage and maintain the 1787 Court House and the Sutton Clock & Tower
