Cheryl Cohen is an independent book editor who creates songs on the West Coast of Canada. Love & Exile, her debut CD, includes various genres and lyrics that are sometimes tinged with social justice and environmentalist concerns. She is a former career newspaper journalist (reporter and editor) who grew up in apartheid South Africa and lived in Berlin for six months before moving to Canada at age 22.
